MS knew this momentum, and built Fabric in silence.
I know fabric is not mature, but it is solving the drawback of multiple tools, and is moving ahead on inhouse data analysis and engineering.
I also think that the industry is gradually moving toward more unified data platforms with tighter integration between storage, engineering, governance, analytics, and AI capabilities.
